A training program on the Application of Financial Management in the Public Sector was held at Habiganj Agricultural University on Wednesday (30 July).
The training covered important topics including government budget preparation, financial planning, public accounting systems, audit procedures, procurement policies, and financial reporting. Participants were introduced to modern financial management tools and techniques aimed at ensuring transparency, accountability, and the efficient use of public resources.
The training session was conducted by Md. Rezaul Karim Hawlader, Director of the Finance, Accounts and Budget Division of the University Grants Commission of Bangladesh.
